Upper Bruneau Canyon
Upper Bruneau Canyon represents some of the most remote locations in the state of Idaho. The jeep trails used on this outing were not technically challenging and four-wheel drive in dry conditions is not required. However, there are sections of this outing where the jeep trail is very rocky. Quality tires are a must. Do not attempt in wet weather.

Being the prudent explorers that we are, we did not venture down in
This was the jeep trail down into the bottom of the canyon providing access to the Homer Bedal homestead
The black streak was left by oil that drained out of a vehicle that had popped a hole in its transfer case, differential, or oil pan. Not sure how that got that one back home.
You can see the jeep trail dropping into the canyon on the far right of the photo
