I have had, what I believe to be a juvenile, experience a couple years ago on the south fork of the Boise river. Kinda tripped me out. So much so that I tried contacting a professor at Idaho state university on the matter. So there are believers because simple logic doesn't explain gallon sized rocks flying through a group of trees in an isolated and difficult area to get to. No bs

I do know that they travel interdimensionaly.........that is why their tracks stop in weird places they can disappear and reappear through.portals......they are actually more evolved spiritually than.humans......they are very psychic too.... I have just done a lot of research on my own over the years......not as a scientist, just as someone who looks stuff up, follows, and collects stories.......I do have a friend who saw two though........I am into all mysteries metaphysical..........and I love me some Bigfoot........I did hear one calling while camping a few years ago........at least, I believe I did.......it was like nothing I had heard before.......it gave me chills.
That's so cool! Just don't try to hurt them or shoot them..... Also, they can read your thoughts......they are not so fond of men.....they prefer females.....they feel less threatened...... You may find tracks that suddenly disappear, that is because they know where portals and star gates are and can slip into other dimensions......they are here part of the time, but also live in other dimensions.....

Hello I dont talk much about the bigfoot because, you know people either find It interesting or think your crazy, but I love to share my storys I have never seen any in Idaho but, I have a location in Oregon that is more than anyone would want to see, my best friend baught a little spot in the middle of national forest it was dirt cheap and only able to own it because it had littl house from way back when his first night was a nightmare his trail or was getting tossed around door opening so he did what anyone els would do and ran but he desired to go back he is a 60 year old single man and was not going to lose his piece of heaven that was 4 years ago, long story short, he lives with 3-4 family's of big foot they respect each other and it ain't no joke I went to see because I believe in anything, I wasn't ready its very uncomfortable at first, you can't see them even when they are ten feet away untill he pulled out some snickers bars to leave by there birthing nest then the 6-11 foot bi pedlers were everywhere he said because I have Indian blood they were comfortable around me, they leave home food as well but its not what he eats so he cooks it and returns it, anyhow the events that happen there are unexplainable and it took him over a year to even get there trust to see them they are of another world or maybe of multiple worlds the children are all that I have seen they are couriuse ive seen a couple moms but I have only felt the older males and seen the there power from a distance, what about you did you find some in Idaho?
Hello friend i enjoy hearing about encounters ot sightings, feel free too share any time, but just remember, I'm not just a believer i know they are around, you know what i would like to understand is how they are have been able to stay a mistery, and how somthing that big can vanish into nothing, almost as if they can move from spiritual world to our world as they please, and why didn't they kill my friend when they wants him to leave, or why don't they hide when I'm there but they hide when his brothers there, maybe because i believe i want to know there purpose there job in this world, in a way i wish i never went to my buddys place i never realy thaught about bigfoot before i went there and he warned me, but know that, ive seen, and felt, there presents its always on my mind, i am a Christian man, seeing such a powerful, and smart creature just makes me question what they really are and what God uses them for could the be the children of the fallen angles half angel half man? Hahaha i dont expect to hear back from you, after you read this m, it makes me feel crazy even saying that but, its how i feel, i would have no problem proving there existance, shoot my buddy has dang near became there children's baby sitter, so now that i know i just want to know why, who, i dont talk to anyone but my buddy about them i am a s.c.p./ through the Seattle marine chemist and if the head safty guy was talking about bigfoot they would probably fire me, my buddy is my boss the head egineer they wouldn't like hearing about it, we would both be labled crazy and put in a mental hospital hahaha so i understand i you thaygjt i am crazy, do you know anything along those lines of why they would be here?

Me and my brother in 1999 were in the woods of Snohomish county. It was a peaceful day and warm. We saw some track of some sort. We looked closer and we thought it was big foot. These were quite unusual.

Talk to Dr Jeff Meldrum at ISU sign pocatello. Also many Experienced this in the Mink Creek area of pocatello.. .
Well I was camping for 2 weeks in that area and had the feeling of someone watching my husband and I. I heard knocking sounds, howls, etc.. but wasn't aware at that time, that they pertained to a Bigfoot. We like to pan for gold in the streams all over that area, and have many times before this trip, however this time I felt very very uneasy.
I didn't go outside the trailer when it was dark, cuz of the odd noises, smells, etc.. I flat out refused to go outside unless it was daytime. Now I'm not afraid of the woods etc, because I like to hunt, hike, panning, and been an outdoorsy Idaho gal my whole life. My husband thought I was going crazy.. The negative energy was intense.. Like we were in their spot??
I haven't returned to that area since, so if my husband wanted to go camping to that area, he took the nephews instead.
But a couple of months later, some pocatello high school students went to that area to film the canyons for a geology class and actually caught a juvenile one on their cell camera. I think they submitted it to YouTube, and local news annonousily, for fear of ritacual.
So that basically just confirmed the noises, feeling, everything that I experienced those 2 weeks. Now I'm interested in Bigfoot and not so much scared any more.. After doing some research on Bigfoot, and recalling this area, I remembered seeing the trees bent over and not cracked, and the tree teepee's. That and the students proof, I know they were there when we were. No doubt!

I have had 2 different bigfoot encounters. Only one in Idaho, but it was the best one. I encountered a female bigfoot with her offspring infant on the Magruder Corridor road. THAT encounter was, twice. Once, one day then again on the next day, in the same area. She stalked and watched me and my friend for 3 days. We saw them both several times and the tracks were unmistakable. We believe that she took a coyote we harvested that we placed on a rock withing 20 feet of our camp during the night and a completely cleaned up a gut pile from a deer we harvested 200 yards away from our camp.

Hey there! My name is Jacob. I haven't had a personal experience with bigfoot yet, but I am a firm believer and avid hiker so I expect that at some point I will. I am writing you to give you some interesting information I gathered from an old Native American man a few summers back when I was visiting a friend at Camp Agnes out in Mission. He was telling us about his personal experiences, which a fella I was traveling with was trying to discredit. His argument was that "no one has ever found the remains of a bigfoot." This brought us into a conversation about the funerary practices of Bigfoot. Being "humanoids" it would make sense that they would have some kind of ritual or practice in caring for their deceased. What the man said really struck me in it's practicality. He told us that there was a time that the Salish knew the bigfoot, and that they would interact with eachother. He said the bigfoot was always known to the Salish as a reclusive creature, and even before the white man came, it was always weary of people. Evidently to the Salish, the bigfoot, like the bear and turtle, is sacred. They consider themselves protectors of it, and they consider it the one creature on their land they CAN still protect. They do it by keeping it's secrets. Now, he told us the reason no one finds the remains is because they do have a funerary practice, and have for thousands of years. The bigfoot knows it is different, and that difference poses a terrible threat, not just to one bigfoot, but to the entire species and it's existence. The bigfoot knew that any remains left behind would expose their reclusive species. He told us that they live in very close proximity to one another, and when one dies, the entire "community" mourns for extended periods of time. We are talking years apparently. The practice they use in caring for their dead is what prevents remains from being found, and would resemble a Tibetan Sky Burial (if you are familiar with it). The bigfoot takes it's dead brethren and strips the flesh off of bone, and then pulverizes the bones. Depending on the circumstances, the community will either consume the flesh or spread it to feed other animals. The crushed bone is also spread but over much greater distances. Whether it is true or not is anyones guess, but that gentleman sure seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I am convinced. But even if it isn't true, it makes for one heck of a good campfire story. Hope this piqued your interest like it did mine. Not too often do you get to discuss the funerary practices of a North American bigfoot!!

Hi;
I live in the Lewiston area. The Craig mountains lie just south of us. Many of my friends have told me over the years of actually seeing them in those mountains. if you are curious, let me know and I will tell you a story that actually happened to me my son, and one of his his classmates. I swear on my mother's grave it was a true encounter.and would take me a few pages to write out, but will if you are interested.
I will relate to you what happened to the three of us so many years ago, but first I would like to pass along another event. I was not a witness, but was told of this event by a very trusted friend who had no reason to make something like this up. I live on the Nez Perce Indian reservation near Lewiston Located here is an office of the Dept of Indian affairs Working there was a native American who came from the Macaw Indian Reservation located the on extreme Western point of the state of Washington. No non-natives live there and they cling to their native ways as much as possible. After a few years, he moved home. At that time, I volunteered to drive kids on school trips to points around the Pacific North west. Each spring, the Soph class made a trip to the Pacific coast. During the year they would complete projects to pay for most of the costs of the trip. We would usually go to points on the Oregon coast, but one year they decided to go to the Washington coast and picked the point where the Macaws were located after my friend had invited them over. My friend served as host and his brother who owned a fishing boat offered to take the kids on a ride on the sound. Making sure everything was safe the kids went on the trip of their lives many having never seen the Pacific let alone sail on it. As they were leaving the dock, my friend took me to a trail that provided access to an overlook of the Sound so we could watch the kids go by. In passing he informed me as a matter of fact that the trail was used by the creature we call "Bigfoot". He also told me an elementary class had an encounter the day before. Their teacher had taken them to a secluded beach to study the different kinds of life that lived in the shallow waters. Well...the kids departed the school bus and ran down the beach to a small tidal pool. The water was very shallow and not at all dangerous. However, before the teacher could secure the bus the kids were all at the far end of the beach. As she started to join them , a creature we call bigfoot came out of the underbrush and entered the water looking for something to eat. It completely ignored the teacher ...and . the kids they had been taught,to simply sit down and watched the guy. the teacher did the same on her end of the beach. After a fashion, ...without even looking at them, it ,turned and disappeared into the dense brush. My friend told me what happened as if it happened every day. I quizzed him why no one panicked. He told me "Norm" we see them as often as you see Elk in your country. We simply leave them alone. I ask him why hasn't anyone brought these creatures to the public's attention. He replied "Norm" how long would they last if the white man knew about them he told me to come visit him during the winter months and he would take me to a place where I could take pictures of them. He told me to bring two cameras...one for long shots and one for close- ups He said not to bring one camera because changing lenses might take too much time and or make the wrong sounds . He also told me "Norm" I know you..that is why I am making you this offer". "I know you would never tell any one where you took your pictures. "I won't even ask you to keep it between the two of us because I trust you.
We kept in touch.... A couple years later I called him to let him know I would be coming over between Christmas and the new year. his wife answered the phone. When I told her I planed on driving over to visit them , she broke down crying and told me he had passed away a couple weeks before. No one but the two of us had any idea why I was coming so far just to visit an old friend. Well...I did drive over and spent some time with his wife and the kids, but never mentioned why I had planned a winter trip All I could do was visit a fresh grave and wonder what could have been..... I don't know you.... I have never told anyone about that time in my life(40 some years ago)
It has always been my secret....now...I have shared it with you. The people who have lived there for hundreds of years want to keep it that way. feel free to share it with your wife ..If you have one...other than my wife (who passed away 3 years ago) you and I are the only non Indians who are aware of these creatures...as far as I know... Lets honor the people that live there ...and simply leave them alone OK?
In the central part of Idaho, there is a massive piece of land that has been set aside as wilderness and named after our late Senator Frank Church. If memory serves me correctly, it encompasses nearly 3 million acres. and is all wilderness. Before the coming of the white man, the Nez Perce Indians blazed a trail from their home land in Central Idaho through this country to what is now Montana. this was the trail they used to go hunt Buffalo Over the years, gold was found in this country and the prospectors used the trail to enter the "Gold country." Over the years the trail was widened to accommodate horse drawn wagons and today it has become a simple dirt road that one can use to drive from the old Gold bearing country of "Elk City" in Idaho to Darby Montana. I believe this old.... Indian trail....wagon road..is the only place where motor vehicles can operate legally in this. wilderness area, which is blessed with numerous high mountain pristine lakes, filled with hard fighting trout but these lakes are seldom visited because to reach them ,one must back pack- several miles in some cases, and the land is hardly flat, however, if one is willing to make the trek and plan on staying there at least one or two nights it is worth it. The first night I spent on this old trail was in 1952. I was a 15 year old fire-fighter who had been called out by mistake (but that is another story) Before I left that place, I had fell in love with it. Even then, while walking around one of those lakes, I noticed massive trout rise to the surface while feeding in the evening hours.
The lakes.. .actually there are three.... are named the Trilby lakes ..I have went back to that country many times...I took my sons there....I have taken my grand-sons there...and three years ago, I took my great-great grand son there. However...something happened years ago that convinced me to NEVER SPEND A NIGHT THERE AGAIN., and one of my sons (and his best friend) have never went back there since our encounter so many many years ago..
AND SO IT BEGINS.
We were camped on the shore of the middle trilby Lake. The three of us my middle son Mike and his best friend Annual Jackson He had been named "mule deer" since he was a small child. He is an enrolled Nez Perce. Mikes mother (my wife) was a Nez Perce also. She passed away 3 years ago.The day had been filled with great fishing, and other than the ones we kept for dinner and a few for tomorrow's breakfast the rest had all been gently returned unharmed to the water ...for another day...
We were sitting around our small camp fire, enjoying our coffee and arguing about who had caught the biggest trout that day and just enjoying the evening air . It was now totally dark and for some strange reason, the Bull frogs and the crickets went silent. All three of us noticed the sudden change ,but gave it no mind what so ever. but it was noticeable.. This lake was about normal in size for the lakes in these wilderness areas....about 4-5 acres.... It was sudden...unexpected...and sent a chill down my back. Never had I heard anything like that in my entire life. Both Mike and Mule Deer without hesitation came to my side of the fire. From the blacken depths of the night air came a terrifying scream on the far side of the lake. I have been in the back woods all my life and thought I had seen and heard it all....but not this time.
At once I felt a sense of helplessness. two young men...looking to me for answers...I had none I never carried a firearm on those trips....nothing. I was just starting to reassure them that small animals can make one hell of a noise when they want. when...it happened again. this time it had circled the lake counter clockwise to our position. and let out that blood curdling scream.......and then....nothing....that bothered me more than anything. not knowing where it was other than it was getting closer to our position. We had gathered a pretty good pile of dry wood for dinner and the evening chat that was a custom. I took my hunting knife out of my back pack and slipped my belt through the loop in the knife's sheath. It was at that very moment that we were greeted by a terrifying scream again. it had now circled the lake and was probably no more than 300 feet from us, Still in total darkness. I ordered the boys to heap some wood on the fire telling them that what ever it was, It wouldn't get close to our fire. soon the fire was burning bright and shooting flames high into the night's sky. Once again.....it let loose with that terrible scream as if it had been badly injured. To our relief it appeared to be moving off. we kept a fire burning through out the night and none of us slept.
The next morning was even more weird
It took forever for the dawn to give us some visible light. Was time for our scheduled departure. By now, our fire was down to hot coals which made it just right for cooking the bacon and eggs we had saved for this meal. while I was prepping breakfast, the boys (actually young men both 20 years old) discussed the events of yesterday and last night. Both of them had been in the back woods many times by them selves . and knew their way around and had no fear of what they may run into in the wilderness areas.. however, both of them admitted having the strange feeling of being watched all day and kept pretty close to each other. They hadn't talked about it at the time, because each did not know the other one had the same feeling. until they were talking about it at breakfast. What happened next was just too much to comprehend and to this day I cannot figure it out.. While at the fire , pouring myself a cup of coffee, I noticed a movement to one side of camp. Walking along side the lake was a mule deer buck Our camp was about 50 feet from the water. he was just on the shore line right in front of us. This is the weird part. he had a gigantic rack with probably 12 points. One could hardly tell because his antlers were all twisted and pointing in several different directions. I had never seen anything like that. In "man" years, he was pushing 100 years old. He just stopped and stood there watching us with no amount of fear what so ever. I was a camera nut in those days and usually shot 5 or 6 rolls of film on those trips. I walked around the fire and retrieved my camera from a stump I had been sitting on. As though he had became bored, he walked another 30 feet toward the trees, and stopped along side of a huge tree that had blown down . he was now broadside toward me about 30 feet away, but stopped and started staring at us out of curiosity (he was between me and the huge blown down tree. I took my Minolta Maxumand with perfect focus and the right aperture snapped a great picture Then,. As if on cue , he slowly walked toward the brush, but was in view for several seconds.I smiled , handed Mike the camera and told him to take a few more picts. he did.
Had cleaned up camp, adjusted our back pack straps shouldered them and was heading for the steep trail that would take us up and out of the basin of the three Trilby Lakes the boys took a short cut to the trail I stayed on the more gentle land saving myself for the agonizing climb that was waiting for me. I started to step over a log and stopped short in my boot tracks. I instantly reached for my knife sheath, making sure the knife was still there. I knew it was there, but had to make sure. I started to pull the knife out of its sheath, but didn't. Last night ,the creature that traveled near our camp had exited this way. I started to call the boys, but didn't. no use in getting them all fired up again.
On the ground just beyond the log was the biggest pile of shit I had ever seen. There was one turd. it was easily as big as my wrist and was as long as the distance from my wrist to my elbow. As a hunter, I had seen every sample of "scat" that was possible . The roar the creature made last night was just as original. needless to say, I starting feeling very uncomfortable. And made it a point to keep the boys in sight until I caught up with them. that ....was no Deer...no Elk....no Cat.... no Bear...just something very big to leave a pile of crap that big. In all the years that have passed, there is one thing I regret not doing. I had my camera draped over my shoulder.....AND DIDN'T USE IT!!
What happened next is still a mystery to this day 30 years later
Unbelievable but true
The boys and I made it home without any more trouble, however, I failed to tell them about the "sign" I walked around on my way to the tral.
About 10 days later, I went into Walmart to pickup the pictures I took of our trip. My wife was always curious and the pictures usually told a short version of what happened We.sat down at the kitchen table and started going through some great pics of the landscape , many animals we had spotted etc.etc. All of a sudden, I stopped. "What the hell?" I was staring at the picture that I took of the deer by the tree. The picture was spot on..... All the details were clear and sharp. There was only one problem....the deer was not in the picture. "perhaps you took two pictures" my wife suggested. "I'm positive I only took one and even if I did where is the other picture"? I ONLY TOOK ONE PICTURE OF THAT TREE AND THAT IS IT" "Could you have taking that picture my mistake?" "Why don't you ask Michael"? I called Mike and had him come up to the house. I mixed all 5 rolls of film (pictures) into a deck . When he came in the house, I sat him down and told him to find the picture I took of the deer.(remember he took several of the deer himself). He started going through the pictures. all of a sudden he stopped and looked up at me. he studied the picture in his hands. "I remember you only took one picture of him he said" This is the picture you took then just looked up at his mother. The picture was the right one. "I don't understand" he said. "I don't either" I replied. My wife said " Call Mule Deer" He lived just a short walk from our place. Soon he came walking in the front door. Pictures all mixed up again and he with instructions to find the picture of the deer I took...started going through them And like Mike he suddenly... stopped... set it down on the table,,,,and quickly went through the rest of the pictures. He then picked it up, looked at me and stated "this is it but I don't understand ,,,,where did the deer go"?,,,,
To make short work of the story,,,the pictures mike took of the deer all came back black. I kept that picture for 30 years but one day the wife cleaning house threw it out by mistake
both Mike and mule deer are all grown up men now with kids and grandkids of their own, and still swear as to the truthfulness of the event
I don't know if you received the entire story, but I wanted to pass on to you what was told to me later Like I mentioned in the beginning this country was used for hundreds of years before the white man showed up., and stories of course are always handed down from generation to generation. I knew several elders here on the Reservation, and ask them about the Trilby Lakes area. All of them came to the same conclusion. DO NOT GO THERE!! "that place is "SUCCPEETTES" the spelling is only as close as I can sound it out....It means a place where evil spirits dwell. there is no indian trail to the Trilby lakes An old elder who was a very good friend of mine and who was actually in the "War of 1877 told me stories of that place. As a lad of 5 or 6 his entire family was murdered during the battle of the big hole in South west Montana during that time He was a great friend of mine You can Google him if you like. His name was Josiah Redwolf.
I do not know you. doesn't matter I guess., However, I am sure that somewhere in your past, something has happened to you or your partner (if you have one) :)...that has stayed with you and will never go away.
I am probably older than you and I have several that cling to me like fog on a winter day.
I( am not superstitious in anyway. I do nor believe in the "supernatural". However, while growing up here on the reservation, I have met some extremely unique people. Josiah Redwolf was one.
Another one was a very old lady named "Wolits" (again the spelling is only by the sound) She....was a "Medicine Women" and was both highly respected and , at the same time, somewhat feared. As a young boy I chummed around with her great grand-daughter, then as teenagers became "boy friend--- girl friend" and remained good friends until her death several years ago. As a matter of fact Many of my close friends who were full blooded Nez Perce,, never made it past their 35 birthday. The diet they grew up with was simply not conducive to blend with our foods, and most of my close friends developed diabetes at a very young age.
Anyway The old people ...and to a certain extent, many young ones. still carry the beliefs of their elders . Growing up here , I have been witness, to things that I can honestly admit were some very unusual happenings.
The night that three of us were so very close to something so very far out of the ordinary, So close. I went back to those lakes again.....but never spent a night there. (this I was advised to do by the tribal elders) I found out the hard way to NEVER take a female to that area....So did a very close friend of mine. but that....is another story...... The huge "scat" I almost stepped on proved that what we heard that night before was not a ghost or something supernatural but a real living creature . the ground was very rocky so I could never find a "track" only depressions in the grass
The year was 1968. My mother had been a widow since 1947 ( the year my father died.)
Every Saturday morning, My family , if nothing else was going on.... would load up (four kids, my wife and I and drive to town and visit theirGramma "B" before doing the things that families do on Saturdays.. One particular Sat morning, I had pulled up in front of her house to be met with a overwhelming feeling of despair. I didn't shut the car off, but instead told the wife I had suddenly became ill and should go home. We did...When we got home, the wife took the kids to the local store to buy something special for breakfast, I stayed home. They hadn't been gone but a minute or two when the local town Marshal drove into our driveway. got out of his car...walked up to me and said "Morning Norm I have some really bad news ". without dwelling on the subject he informed me that my mother had passed away during the night in the house we had just left without going in to see her. Go figure

Hello,
I prefer to use the term 'Sasquatch' as that word will be most likely be incorporated into the official biological classification of this creature when they are finally recognized by science. Anyway, in 1997, after I graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (with my first degree), I was employed by the BLM in Coos Bay, OR, as a Natural Resource Specialist. As such, I worked in the forest every day. I believe I was nearly the ONLY person in the office to venture into the woods every day. And certainly the only person go by himself/herself.
I had been a lifelong student of the Sasquatch phenomenon and that was the reason for my going to Oregon. I often saw evidence of these creatures. I saw their huge bare foot prints in the silty bottoms of creeks. The understood my pattern of walking through timber sales and they would get in front of my path and leave huge piles of excrement. They would shake small poplars behind me. The undergrowth is so thick near the Coast that visibility was only a few feet but I could sometimes get a brief glimpse of dark feet/lower legs. I ALWAYS carried my very large caliber revolver and I was not concerned with any antics of these creatures or bears. I was always concentrated on my tasks at hand. I must mention that if I was in and area that had any bears I did not often see evidence of the Sasquatch. I believe the Sasquatch gave territorial consideration to the bears.
Are you acquainted with 'vine maples'? Vine maples are a poplar tree that actually grows parallel to the ground. They can attain a diameter of 6 inches. On one timber sale there was a hill side of a couple acres covered with vine maples 4 feet deep/thick. One day, on my way back to my vehicle, I discovered a 'tunnel' through these vine maples. The tunnel was apparently constructed by 'training' by bending and forming the young vine maples. This tunnel was large enough that I could move through it in a bending and crouching posture rather than crawling. I moved through the tunnel very quickly but I noticed rooms or caverns on both my right and left but I did not pause to investigate! I think this was the last day I spent on this particular timber sale. I did not discern any odors in these vine maples. If the area was used by bears an odor would be detected.
I moved to a timber sale north of Coos Bay/North Bend. One day while coming down a logging road on my way back to the office, a juvenile Sasquatch ran across the road about 60 feet from my vehicle. This creature was about 4 feet plus tall. I am sure it was a male. It did not have fur but rather it was covered in wispy light brown hair about 2-3 inches long. It's face/head was turned slightly toward me as if it was trying to look out the corner of it's eye. It had kind of a mischievious/daring expression on its face. The face was a light brown about the same color as its hair. Indeed, I believe the creature's color was due mostly to it's skin color as its body hair was so wispy. The face appeared human and his nose could best be described as a 'pug nose'. I saw it for about 3 seconds. When I got to the spot where it ran across the road, there was a trail through the under growth and the shrubbery had a conical archway or tunnel through it about 6-7 feet in height.
I believe these creatures are a primitive type of human. I believe they are content with their way of life but they are intelligent and they have a 'sense of humor' in their psyche. I often heard wood knocks near and far in the forest. I once encountered a bone skeleton in a little secluded niche in the forest but I found no skull. I thought it was a bear skeleton and I still have a leg bone that I carried away in my knapsack. It WAS NOT the skeleton of a deer or elk. I also found a pile of clam shells once. This was many miles from the ocean. Interestingly enough, I recently found some very large fish heads at the base of a tree here in the Black Hills. They were from large trout and a great distance from water. I am still bewildered from that find.
My encounter with the juvenile Sasquatch was in the Umpqua Resource Area about 15 miles east of Reedsport and on the south side of the Umpqua River. There were many thickets of black berries and salmon berries in this area. The ground would be thick with 'newts'. I wonder of the Sasquatch eat these disgusting life forms? Near this sale, there was a heavily traveled elk trail diagonally across an old timber sale down to the creek. I actually marked a riparian reserve on this creek. On one of my later visits to this timber sale area the entire mountain side had slid down into the creek bottom. I believe the timber in this area was last cut about 25 years previously as the trees were all about ready to be harvested again. A brief informal counting of the destroyed trees in the jumble revealed about 100 visible trees in the mess. I have made some recreational visits to this area recently and on my last visit the swinging pipe gate was locked. When I walked up the logging road it was blocked by a massive landslide. The timber sale I had marked had been clear cut and even the wildlife trees I had marked had been cut! There are thousands of uninhabited acres in these BLM Resource Areas and Forest Service National Forests near the Coast.
So, this is what I know about the subject of Sasquatch. There is no doubt they exist. I spend a lot of time in the forests and whenever I see buzzards or vultures circling I go to the area to see if a dead Sasquatch may be the subject of their feast!! I think it was Dr. Meldrum who said that, if one should encounter a dead Sasquatch in the forest, the head should be removed as trying to move the entire body/skeleton may be dangerous or prohibitive.
