Hawley Mountain Lookout

Hawley Mountain Lookout is north north east of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.  It sits at an elevation of 7,300 feet.  This lookout provide great views of the Boise Basin mining area.

To access this lookout, start at Horseshoe Bend and take Harris Creek Road which goes to Placerville.  This is an all-season gravel road.   When you reach the summit, take the road going north.

That road will take you to the lookout and then it dead ends.
